MyFilm48 screens its program in Jakarta at the World Conference on Creative Economy
· Jakarta
Eleven films by the winners of MyFilm48's three 2026 seasons were screened at the Russian House in Jakarta. The screening was part of Russia's program at the 5th World Conference on Creative Economy, WCCE 2026, which Russia attended with a delegation for the first time in the conference's history.

WCCE 2026 runs in Jakarta from 21 to 23 October at the Hotel Indonesia Kempinski and the SCBD business district. The conference was opened by the President of Indonesia. Speakers include ministers and heads of delegations from dozens of countries, executives from Netflix Southeast Asia, YouTube SEA, Adobe, Sony Innovation Fund, SM Entertainment, HYBE and The Pokémon Company, and representatives of WIPO and UNCTAD. On 22 October the ministerial meeting adopted the conference's outcome document, the Jakarta Vision on Creative Economy. Indonesia will carry its provisions into its initiative for a UN resolution on the creative economy.

The same day, at 16:00 at CGV Grand Indonesia, the session “Russia–Indonesia Dialogue on the Creative Economy: From Policy to Projects” took place. It was moderated by Ekaterina Cherkes-zade, Adviser to the Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI). Indonesia was represented by Muhammad Neil El Himam, Deputy Minister of Creative Economy for Digital Creativity and Technology, and Russia by Natalia Kuchmanova, representative of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development in Indonesia. The agenda covered co-production in animation and film, access to both countries' markets, intellectual property protection and professional exchanges. ASI brought more than twenty representatives of creative businesses to Jakarta: producers of film, television, animation, video games and music projects.
In parallel, at the same venue, the Global Creative Economy Council held the session “Creative AI: Human-Centred Innovation and the Future Creative Economy”. The question in its title was also the subject of the evening screening, only there the answers came as films.
The programEleven films, three seasons, 34 minutes
The selection brought together works from Season VI (Industrial), Season VII (Cannes) and Season VIII (Moscow 2050). Within each season the films ran from second place up to the Grand Prix, so the audience could watch the bar rise within a single brief and a single deadline. The films were introduced by Pavel Peregudov, founder and general producer of the competition, who named the season, the track and the author's city before each work.

From Surabaya to the AI Agents track
The only author in the program from the host region, Azel Hilmi from Surabaya, made LAST BET IN CANNES and took third place in the Professional track of the Cannes season.
The screening closed with Orange in the Wall by Alexandr Mishuk from Seversk, winner of the AI Agents track. In September 2026, Season VIII for the first time put films made by autonomous multi-agent systems into competition, judged by the same jury as works made by people. For an audience that had spent the whole day discussing human-centred AI, it was the most direct illustration of the theme.
“The competition is designed so that an author receives not only an assessment from an international jury and the attention of producers. They gain access to venues that people usually spend decades getting to. Winners of the fifth and sixth seasons went to the Cannes film market with official accreditation and held meetings there. Today in Jakarta, works by our authors from Russia, China, Hong Kong and Indonesia were seen by the people who this week are setting the creative economy agenda for years ahead. Between a first film made in a few days and an audience like this, there is now one season, not a whole career.”
That same evening, the Russian House also screened the family film Gorynych, produced by Sergei Selyanov.
